Today’s Devotion-30th July 2020
Topic: THE LORD’S STANDARD
God has standards, the enemy cannot penetrate, unless He allows it. God will make His justice on the enemies of His people to plainly appear. When the enemy threatens to bear down all without control, then the Spirit of the Lord shall stop him, put him to flight. He that has delivered, will still deliver.
Memory verse: Isaiah 59:19 KJV, So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.

RELATED ACTIVE STORY
Full scripture: Micah 7:7-8,10 KJV, Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. [8] Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me. [10] Then she that is mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the Lord thy God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets… Hallelujah!!!

LESSONS

  1. Beloved, “when the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” The Lord jealously love and protects His children.
  2. Again, “rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise.” In our falling, the Lord is right there to lift us up.
  3. Lastly, “then she that is mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the Lord thy God?” They would realize that we serve a living God. Hallelujah.

Today’s Quote: God’s standards are still very high against the enemy. NB: A short prayer with the lessons. Main Prayer: May the standard of the Lord show the enemy that truly we are the children of God in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Singing: 🎹We have an anchor that keeps our souls… God bless you-Amen & amen.
